Home. At Last!

With a cross country journey that stretched from Kansas City’s finest dining to its funkiest dives, to Denver’s top gastropub, to waking up sweating with nightmares about this thing — (Yikes!).  I made it to Healdsburg, CA and to my spectacular new home at Murphy-Goode Winery.

Nothing says “Welcome Hardy Wallace, Wine Country Lifestyle Correspondent” like being greeted by 90+ Murphy-Goode wine club members, a ton of sweet tea brined BBQ chicken, and a Liar’s Dice tournament where winner takes all (and club members are smelling fresh blood).

Though, I didn’t totally embarrass myself in our tournament, I was no match for most of our club members who’ve taken this game to levels of artistic greatness.

With just two days under my belt, one thing is for sure, this is going to be a wild ride.
